What are you all up to this weekend? I’m going to be editing my book; it’s the final edit of my first novel, a police procedural, and I can’t wait for it to be published.

Here in Kent the sun is shining so I might get out for a bit and enjoy it, while it lasts. You just never know with the British weather.

Our three cats have hammocks in our conservatory and they’re already out there taking in the rays!

Whatever you are doing this weekend, stay safe and have a great one.

I’m in the Misty Mountains today – very green but set for rain. This means lots of tea and coffee,
household jobs and reading and writing. I have to give a book back to a friend (I’ve had it nearly a year!) so I’m trying to read it now…really quickly.

It’s still sunny here in Kent. No matter what the weather, I always have lots of tea! I’m not a lover of coffee, never have been.
I hope you manage to finish that book!

Thank you, Nicola. It’s certainly been a labour of love. But I’m determined to finish the final edit as soon as possible. Esther has been fantastic in her help and support.

Esther is the best – she certainly picked me up when I’d almost given up, and it’s thanks to her that I’ve go to the end of my own manuscript. Keep going, you’re nearly there! 🙂

Hi, I thought I’d sent this but can’t find it, so apologies if it’s a duplicate.
I’m a member of the Kingswood Book Klub, small group (10-12 of us) of avid readers who meet once a month to share and discuss our love of reading. We would love it if you could join us to tell us about your inspirations, your experiences and your creativity. We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month in the Village Hall, at 8pm. Next meeting is this week, then Thurs 28 May? Do you think you could join us, please? Thanks, Ceridwen (I say it Cred-win)

    Hi Ceridwen,
Thank you so much for your message and the invite to join The Kingswood Book Klub. It sounds wonderful and I have put it in my diary. Unfortunately, I can’t make this week, but can you please let me know if a particular book has been chosen for the May 28 meeting?
    Thanks again
