One of my passions is photography. I’m by no means an expert in the field, but I love taking pics of landscapes, wildlife and of course, my cats. Basically, I shoot anything that takes my fancy and I look forward to sharing some of my work with you.

Something a little different this week. When this is posted, I’ll be on a cruise. It was on a cruise last year that I tried watercolour painting at a craft session. This is one of my very first attempts at painting ‘freehand’.

Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope your week is going well. I thought I would post a funny pic this week. Not a place I’d choose to visit! I took this photo years ago, on a visit to the Gold Coast in Australia.

This was taken from a rotating cable car from Malcesine to Mount Baldo in Lake Garda.Malcesine Mount Baldo cable car is open for 10 months a year and it brings you from Malcesine to Tratto Spino, on Mount Baldo at 1760 m of altitude, in just 15 minutes. I loved it.

The Mini Metro. I had one of these back in the 1980s and I absolutely loved it. It was my second car, my first was a Fiat 126. This photo was taken at the Motor Museum in the Lake District.

This is how Lady Olive Baillie’s bedroom looked in the 1930s, taken inside Leeds Castle, Kent. Lady Baillie was an Anglo-American heiress and owned Leeds Castle from 1926 until her death in 1974. She was known for throwing wild weekend parties, where guests included Charlie Chaplin and Errol Flynn.
