They are Tulips. Beautiful aren’t they?

    Beautiful. Daffodils for me.๐Ÿ’œ

I love Daffodils too, Sis. For me that’s when the garden wakes up every year after winter.

Mmm ๐Ÿค” I love many different flowers but I think daffodils might be my favourite. They bring a burst of colour.

I think the Daffodils are winning! I can see why though, they are a beautiful flower.

You can’t beat the first daffodils of spring to put a smile on my face.๐Ÿฅฐ

Ditto that, Lou. I love it when the garden wakes up.

Those lovely big purple wild poppies. I say wild, they sprout up all over here. In cracks and on the fence lines. Outside our gardens. ๐Ÿ˜‚

These are gorgeous. I’ve never seen a purple tulip!

Oh I love those poppies. Here in Kent, they were wild red poppies growing along the A20 road when I passed it at the weekend.

Lovely photo, Lynn. They make a fine show. There is so much choice, when it comes to a favourite, but I’ll go for the fuchsia because I love its “ballerina” quality and stunning colours.

In Spanish they’re known as “the Queen’s Earrings” (los pendientes de la reina)

Sadly I’ve never been able to grow them. They like natural light but shrivel in hot sunshine. A flat nearby has lots of them – I walk by sometimes, just to admire them.

Fuchsia is a pretty flower. What a shame you can’t grow them over there.

I love all flowers, Lynn, but as a kid I had a real passion for – you’ve guessed it – a passion flower. We had some in the garden at Jacobs Well. Apart from how beautiful they are, I was fascinated by the symbolism granted to them.

I love taking photos of passion flowers, Janice. The colours always seem so vibrant.

Beautiful flowers, Lynn. I love snowdrops, because they’re the first sign of everything waking up after the winter, ditto daffodils and all the spring flowers. I think I love all flowers really โ€“ especially when they’re in large clumps and you get a mass of them.

Thanks, Nicola. Reading all these comments, I think I also love all flowers! I’d forgotten how beautiful snowdrops are and I also love the garden ‘waking up’.
